SP Announces Yet Another SandForce Driven SSD

LSI SandForce-powered solid state drives have become uncommon and joining them is Silicon Power’s V60, a SATA III drive with maximum sequential read and write speeds of 550 MB/s and 500 MB/s respectively. It also comes with capacities of 60, 120, 240 and 480 GB making it almost similar to the Velox V30. Is there any difference?

As of now, the only difference between the two SP Velox drives is their looks. The Velox V60 is made out of brushed aluminum with a nice silver embossed diamond cut logo while the V30 looks, well, simple. Silicon Power is yet to release complete throughput numbers for the V60 (such as IOPS) so may be there are some differences there.
